I visited Sandos Cancun for a week in November 2024. I really enjoyed the beachfront location. the sand was soft and the views were stunning. The service was top-notch. Mario and the team at the pool area were super attentive. The sold-out beach beds were a real highlight for lounging in the sun, and the drink service kept us refreshed. I also loved the Italian restaurant for dinner. the food was delicious and presented nicely. However, the buffet was a letdown for breakfast and lunch, with very limited options and disappointing quality. Our room was comfortable, but it felt a little dated and could use some renovations. The air conditioning worked well, but there were some minor maintenance issues that we reported at check-in. It took a while to resolve them. Still, the staff's friendliness made the trip enjoyable. Overall, great location and staff, but improvements on food variety and room conditions are needed.

Had a great time with friends! We enjoyed kayaking and snorkeling in the beautiful waters. The service was top-notch, especially by the pool, and the beach setup was nice despite it being a bit crowded. Definitely a fun group getaway!

The hotel is showing its age, which is noticeable in both the decor and the room amenities. Limited dining options left me feeling restricted, particularly with only one main buffet and a confusing reservation system for the specialty restaurants, often leading to disappointment as some customers were turned away despite empty tables. Additionally, the overall food quality lacked the expected standard, falling short on flavor and creativity. I found room service to be a better choice for meals, as some dining experiences were quite bland.
